This site was created on 29 August 2021. It will grow slowly as we gather information and stories.

The site will work in conjunction with a new Facebook group of the same name where people can share their stories; information on this Website will be taken largely from submissions to that group. The Yucatán Back Roads Facebook group will also be open for membership to providers of ecotourism and other services of value to the English-speaking residents and visitors here in Yucatán.
